Cyclone OMA

Good afternoon all, Visual Collective is coming to you from Burleigh Heads

Another absolute cracker start to the day here on the Gold Coast and my day started at Burleigh for sunrise. Sharkies and The Cove were the pick on the morning low with some drainers coming through on the south sets and the barrel weaving locals getting some long rides.

Good afternoon all, Visual Collective is coming to you from Burleigh Heads.

Good Morning all

Well tropical cyclone Oma just gave Queensland a run of swell that will be remembered for some time, maybe not as big as predicted, but incredible none the less.

With the usual spots firing in the large conditions, Boiling Pot Noosa, tow sessions at The Alley and Kirra were the standouts.

With little sleep over the past week, I photographed and surfed from Dbah to Noosa and just now caught up on editing and much needed sleep to bring you a few frames from Oma.

The swells predicted to stay up in the 3-5 ft range over the coming week; the wave drought has finally broken for SE Queensland.

If I’ve captured you in any images, please feel free to get in touch for a photo.

Have a great day all.
