Redbull air show

Good afternoon all, Visual Collective is coming to you from Duranbah Beach.

It was a wet and gloomy start to the day on the Gold Coast, but that didn’t stop the Red Bull Airborne trails kicking off at Dbah. This competition gives the best aerialist from local boardriders a chance to compete in the Boost air show, running in conjunction with the upcoming 2019 Quicksilver Pro. With the conditions on the small side, this didn’t stop the competitors giving it all with some great boosts going down all day. Aaron Kelly from the Sunshine Coast took top spot with a 6.83 in the final, knocking out five other competitors.

The waves are predicted to stay in the 2ft range for the next few days with a potential jump on Wednesday.

If I’ve captured you in any images, please feel free to get in touch for a photo.

Have a great day all.

VC
