FAQ

What is a Limited Edition?

A Limited Edition is a photograph that will only ever be produced a set number of times, regardless of the size.

In addition to one artist proof, photographs are printed in small editions of either 50, 100 or 200, making your Limited Edition photograph a unique work of art and a solid investment piece. This edition number refers to the total number of photographs that will ever be printed, regardless of size or print material.

Once 25% of any Limited Edition is sold, the photograph then moves into a new price bracket increasing in value until the final photograph in the edition is sold.

Each Limited Edition is individually printed to order. The photograph is registered to the recipient, arrives with a certificate of authenticity, titled, numbered and personally hand signed by Simon Beedle.

**Simon Beedle Landscape Photography reserves the right to use Limited Edition images in calendars, greeting and post cards, books, desk frames and other promotional material.

How are the images produced?

Each photograph is individually printed to order on Fujiflex Professional Crystal Archive paper. Famous for its high archival stability, exceptionally smooth high gloss finish, contrast and brilliant colour saturation. Laboratory testing by The Wilhelm Research Institute rates the print permanence in correct conditions as exceeding 100 years, making it the first choice for galleries and museums across the world producing fine art prints.

How are the photographs framed?

For all our frames pieces, we use environmentally friendly timber made from plantation pine and 100% archival alpha rag mats from Bainbridge.

All photographs are mounted using water based archival sensitive film, and then glazed with optically clear acrylic Shinkolite which eliminates 93% of harmful UV rays. This process provides maximum protection for the lifetime of your photograph.

Our platinum Bellini frames are handmade in Italy by master craftsman. These frames will be the ones which appeal to the most discerning collector.

What is an Acrylic face mount?

Acrylic face mounting is a process of mounting a photographic print to optically clear, UV resistant, rigid acrylic panel using an adhesive film. Once mounted, an aluminum panel is secured to the back, where a hanging system is fixed.

The Print is viewed through the Acrylic; giving it a beautifully vibrant high gloss look, bringing the image to life.

Acrylic Face mounting provides a contemporary frameless alternative to traditional framing.
